The Silent Way – Alburni and Palinuro

From the quaint village of Petina, the Pearl of the Alburni, you immediately set off on a fascinating pass that will take you to Sant’Angelo a Fasanella and on into the Val Calore. From Roscigno to Teggiano is the Sella del Corticato, spectacular in the flowering months for its picturesque gorse-colored views. After beautiful Teggiano you will reach Sanza where, with a hike, you can admire the natural majesty of the karst swallowhole of Vallivona. Following the Tanagro River will lead to Casaletto Spartano with the famous Venus’s Hair waterfall. It will resume to San Giovanni a Piro and from there to the coast crossing one of the most beautiful and scenic stretches of the Via Silente
